Revelation song
Tuesday, October 27th, 2009His agenda is Life
Tuesday, October 27th, 2009As I worshiped and dwelled over some Bible verses one word came to me: Life. Our Fathers agenda is that we should own life in fullness. That we amist all darkness and fear that exist around us, should have aboundance of life.
He want us to have His complete freedom, because when the chains of hell let go of us, there is nothing stopping us from breathing fresh clean air of life.
Here are some fantastic verses for your inspiration today:
John 3:16
John 14:6
John 1:9
John 10:10
John 7:38
he will lead them to springs of living water.
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
Revelation 7:17
Thaaaaaank you, Jesus! You’re awesome!
Hallelujah (song)
Monday, October 26th, 2009Simple, yet powerful.
Keep it real
Monday, October 26th, 2009When we worship, do we really praise?
When we pray, do we really adore?
When we dance, do we really embrace his presence?
When we give, do we really love?
John 4:24
Keep it real. Keep Him real. Today is a great day to turn away from the old dry wells. Today is a fantastic day to open up new sources of living water, inside.
Compassion

Romans 3:23
It’s so easy to fall for self rightousness. In fact it is deep in the nature of man to blow up the mistakes of others, and fail to see our own faults. Jesus warns us against it:
Matthew 7:3
God’s advocates
Sometimes it seems like Christians are too busy being God’s advocates of rightousness to remember compassion. God will handle judgement Himself. Our burden is to love eachother, not in every situation being morale guardians.
God has set a time of mercy. During this time people only suffer the natural fruit of their sins. Judgement comes later. God have given man free will and free playing ground. Our tool against sin during this time should first and foremost be compassion and love.
We’ve all missed the target. We’re all sinners. So show some mercy.
- Take away the pain, not the trouble
Monday, October 19th, 2009As humans in general and Christians specifically we are called as conquerors and warriors of light. A true Christian life style is not one free of any obstacle. On the contrary, we’re called to stand in the fight for the good of others.
When God created earth and man, he ordered us to conquer it and grow strong. Humans are called as rulers. But before we can rule, we need to know how to stand tall, also through trouble.
If you have the image of Christian life being a life where God takes all trouble away, you’re mistaken. Christian lifestyle is about living in Father’s peace. Not peace from trouble, but peace from trouble’s pain.
Wrong focus in Christian preaching
A lot of Christian preaching are far to one sided. Much is too focused on breakthrough and too little focused on process and endurance. “Today is your day”, many pastors state.
Yes, God provide super natural breakthrough. But more often than just magically take away trouble, he provide peace and Spiritual principles for us to over come the trouble.
God provide us with love, joy, peace, and the tools of which we can conquer. But then it’s up to us to walk through the process of conquering, in faith.
Don’t believe me? Study the life style of the apostles and first disciples. Was it a obstacle free life style?
By living close to our heavenly Father, in His Spirit, His peace will embrace us on all sides. By this peace, we can walk through anything, just like the apostles. By this way He makes us strong in Him, rather than quick fix addicts.
Worthy, You are Worthy
Saturday, October 17th, 2009Here is Matt Redman singing. Here are the lyrics to the song.
That’s how God is like
Saturday, October 17th, 2009Do you remember the smile a stranger gave you?
Do you remember how a happy day feels like?
Have you felt a passion for something bigger than your self bubble inside?
Do you remember someone giving you a big hug and say “Hope you’re ok”?
Have you felt the feeling of accomplishment after finishing an exam?
Do you remember feeling compassion for someone and wanting to help?
God is not distant. The Bible doesn’t state that God is filled with love. It doesn’t say that he has love. The Bible tells us that God IS love. So our God is love and omnipresent.
That means that every time you, or someone else, smile, God is there in that smile. It means that every act and feeling of compassion, love, peace, hope, patience, encouragement and joy is manifestation of the living God on earth. Because God IS love, and all these things come out of love.
This is why the Bible tells us not to fear, but to seek the peace in Him. Because when we fear, we manifest something else than God. In God there is no fear, only hope and peace. And when we practise it, we take a seed of heaven and plant it on earth.
God is not far away. In fact, he’s just a smile away.
Bless the curse
Friday, October 16th, 2009As Jesus anointed warriors we should make our best to do good in any situation. This is of course not always so easy to do. However if we can make it part of our caracter to claim blessing out of our curses, we’ll grow in our maturity in Christ.
Proclaim that you take blessing from the curse, and when bad things strike, bless it with good. When someones says a bad word against you, thank them honestly and give them a good word back.
This is not the same as being weak and letting people bully you. Stand tall as the light carrier you are. However going against evil with good has a tremendous effect of disarming the evil.
We’re all high priests for God
Wednesday, October 14th, 2009Jesus told us that it was better for us if He returned to heaven, so He could send us the Holy Spirit. Even 2000 years later I don’t think we’ve seen the full fruit of his action.
Why was it better that Jesus left the earth, and left us with the Spirit? Wouldn’t it be great if Jesus still was among us, doing great work of Heaven?
No, because Jesus wanted you to have part of the action. Jesus wanted you to see what it is like to be a high priest of God. Jesus didn’t need any more training. So for Him to hang around and practise more at being the son of God, was meaningless.
You and me, on the other hand, that’s a different story. I need all the practise I can get, to fill my new identity as beloved child of God, my Daddy. So Jesus left us with all his tools, the authority and commandment: “By my name and the power of the Holy Spirit: Go out into the whole world, love people, love God, make disciples and do greater deeds than I”.
Wow, what a powerful message! And with the new social media, to go out into the whole world just got a whole lot easier. With a few touches on my keyboard I can build new relationships, share and spread His love and power with people everywhere. If I love my bed too much to move, I don’t even have to leave it to glorify my Lord and King.
Go out and spread some Heavenly joy for the King! Take on your high priest robe and take back what the enemy has taken from us.
