The youth revival at IHOP (video)
Friday, December 4th, 2009John Arnott (TACF) and Bill Johnson (Bethel Church) are going to the IHOP youth revival
Friday, December 4th, 2009Dear Friends,
If you haven’t already heard, there is a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit happening at The International House of Prayer (IHOP) in Kansas City. About a month ago, we got word from Mike Bickle the pastor of IHOP that the Holy Spirit fell on some students in one of their IHOP University classrooms. It quickly spread from that class to the whole University, soon many started flocking from all over the world.
These moves of God are a wonderful and treasured thing and Carol and I wanted to share what God is doing with all of you. We want to support Mike Bickle in this new outpouring. To help with this, Bill Johnson from Bethel Church and I will be at the Awakening Meetings starting this Monday Dec 7, 2009. We will be there to be help in anyway that we can and we would love for you to tune in a watch those events live on both ReviveTV or IHOP. Our hearts is to join together as the body of Christ, and let the Holy Spirit do what He wants to do. To help where needed, to pray where needed, and most of all to work together in a spirit of unity, so that God can continue doing great things.
This outpouring is being streamed nightly, live to the internet so that people everywhere can be a part. We would love for you to tune in, and if you are able, join us in Kansas City. Let’s take this time to join with our brothers and sisters and pray that God will be glorified and that He will touch peoples lives in a powerful new way. God is on the move and now is the time to seek after Him for more!
Mike Bickle has written this amazing letter below, sharing his heart for this time and what God is doing.
Many Blessings
John & Carol Arnott
So tune in via webtv, or if you have the ability go to Kansas City: Go, get blessed, then pass it on to people around you.

Our “crazy” brothers in China
Thursday, December 3rd, 2009One of the most amazing stories I’ve read is that of Brother Yun from China. A couple of days ago I heard another crazy story from China.
A Christian brother had limited access to the Bible and didn’t know so much about the faith. However he had heard that Jesus rose from the grave after 3 days. He though it was how things were supposed to be. So when one person died, he prayed for this person.
One day after his death this dead person opened his eyes. However the man praying said it was too early. He shouldn‘t rise on the first day, because that wasn’t what Jesus did.
The next day the dead person began to move during prayer. Again our brother in his “naive” faith said it was too early: It was only the second day.
On the third day, during prayer, the dead person rose was revived fully to life . Some times being naive, combined with faith, pays off.
Why does God take things away from you?
Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009I recently received a newsletter from Neil Crofts, who promotes authentic leadership. In this newsletter he talks about the importance of status, and how conflict and untruth rise up from our strive for status.
Neil says that often the real reason behind conflict more is about status then greed or religious differences. All luxury goods are based on desire for status.
Why is status so important? Status represent our value and the feeds our identity. Status reflects our identity, and if the status are destroyed, so are our facade, dignity and self value connected to our identity.
God take stuff away from us
So why would God take stuff away from us, instead of blessing us? Well, first of all, by taking the stuff away, he is blessing us. God always act out of love, because that’s who He is.
Also he takes stuff away, because He wants to change our identity. By removing our status, it shakes our identity.
If I now longer possess the status, I need to seek status and value somewhere else. Namely He wants us to seek our Kingdom identity. He wants us to realise that our value is not connected to earthly status, but to Kingdom value.
The items of status can be really anything that feed our ego. It can be our career, car, house, education, business. And what can be even more difficult to understand: It can be our service for God, posture in our church and our view and relationship with God.
Because our earthly service and posture in church is not the same as our Heavenly identity.
Amazing testimony of faith
Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009A woman prayed faithfully for her husband for 30 year. One time she fasted for 40 days for the salvation of her husband.
The man suffered a terrible stroke. He were brought to the hospital. However the doctors left little hope for his survival.
The damages were severe. In addition to heart failing, his kidney didn’t function qnd he got blood in his lungs.
Confronted by the doctor his wife said said everything would be ok, because Jesus is a healer. She prayed all night, but fell asleep 4 am. At that time the man’s heart stopped. However he was revived back to life.
The woman stayed with her husband, reading the bible and singing worship with promises of healing. All the time the doctor said there was no hope. She denied it and said her husband would recover because of Jesus.
Nurses said they felt life in the room because of her constant prayer and worship.
Then, after a 3 day long coma, her husband woke up, without any of the trauma the doctor had stated. The doctor could not believe that her husband recognised her.
However he went back to coma. When he again woke up, his wife said that now he had to give his life to Jesus and confess his sins. He said yes, and his speedy recovery left the doctor no choice but to admit that she was right and her prayer had worked.
Today her husband is fully recovered and well. I saw him today. Thank you, Jesus!
