These days Todd Bentley, from the Lakeland outpouring, are becoming more and more active in service. The revival in Florida ended more than a year ago, when issues of divorce and remarriage emerged.
After some time being completely of the radar, he reappeared under the wings of Rick Joyner in Morning Star ministries. For many months Todd has undergone a restoration process.
However now he’s relaunching his service again, step by step. First with some casts on the web. And in February he’ll hold a real life healing school at the local church. Later he’ll probably star evangelizing in different locations.
Is it enough?
Will the body of Christ accept his reappearance as a preacher? Can we forgive what has happen?
I think those that was skeptical from the outset, still will be skeptical, no matter what Todd does. So from that perspective it doesn’t matter.
We should forgive, because that is what Christians should do. Jesus is all about second chances.
However this is also a matter of trust. Trust is built over time. I think it’s wise that they do this step by step. It will give room for trust to be built.
As for me, I don’t have anything to forgive him for. However I still forgive, and I wish him all the best getting back. I’ll pray that he’ll get it right this time.
