The sensitivity of the Spirit

Saturday, November 21st, 2009
When God’s compassion gains room in our hearts, something fantastic begins to happen: The sensitivity of the Spirit starts to color our soul.

This is just so wonderful, because the sensitivity of the Holy Spirit just makes your life so much deeper. The grass gets greener. The flowers more beautiful. Your children even more adorable. And not to forget: The wonderful peace of Jesus.

When you obtain this peace you don’t want to trade for anything. It makes your life just so incredible stress free. Free of fear. Free from worries. The peace makes you able to face things you never could face in the natural.

The sensitivity of the Spirit also lifts your compassion to new levels. News stories suddenly becomes more alive to you and real. Other peoples’ tragic situations begins to impact you on a deeper level. It’s not just news any more. It is people. It will make you cry for a world in pain.

The sensitivity also brings along new levels of joy. You’ll celebrate life. You’ll understand how precious it is.

The sensitivity of the Spirit simply tells you more of how the Father is. You’ll begin to understand what He is about. You’ll begin to understand what Love is about. The Father is Love.

Revival in Norway: Hope in 1000 to know the voice of God

Friday, November 13th, 2009
During his stay in Norway, Bob Hartley received a sign from the Lord. 1000 will break new ground to connect to the Father’s heart and listen to His Rhema at new levels.

Rhema is a greek word that means “the spoken word” or utterance. It is the voice of God, giving personal revelation.

This is the sign Bob received. Not known to him beforehand Rema 1000 is one of Norway’s major grocery store chains. Bob discovered this during one of his first walks here:

Knowledge of heart matters bring close relationship

The desires of the Father will not be kept secret from the one thousand. New levels of intimacy will be won.

I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.
John 15:15

From hearing the Rhema comes revelation, intimacy and opportunity to gain direction and leadership from the Father. Intimacy gives strong relationship and faith. Through this I believe there will come a strong boldness to both declare His Rhema and putting it to action.

Heaven becomes their reality over the reality on earth.

New ground will be taken for others to follow. The barriers of hope will be expanded in the body of Christ, opening up new levels of faith and hope for both this and the next generation to enter.

Witness

I can bear witness that God is calling individuals in Norway to be part of Rhema 1000. Of course I don’t know if there are 1000, but the move of God bears witness of truth.

Call to action

Pray for the ones called to take this new ground. Pray that their identity shall be known to them and grow strong in their hearts. Pray for their success in pressing in. Also pray that they may inspire and pass on to others what they learn.

That’s how God is like

Saturday, October 17th, 2009
How is God like? Why doesn’t He reveal more of himself to us? I believe He does.

Do you remember the smile a stranger gave you?

Do you remember how a happy day feels like?

Have you felt a passion for something bigger than your self bubble inside?

Do you remember someone giving you a big hug and say “Hope you’re ok”?

Have you felt the feeling of accomplishment after finishing an exam?

Do you remember feeling compassion for someone and wanting to help?

God is not distant. The Bible doesn’t state that God is filled with love. It doesn’t say that he has love. The Bible tells us that God IS love. So our God is love and omnipresent.

That means that every time you, or someone else, smile, God is there in that smile. It means that every act and feeling of compassion, love, peace, hope, patience, encouragement and joy is manifestation of the living God on earth. Because God IS love, and all these things come out of love.

This is why the Bible tells us not to fear, but to seek the peace in Him. Because when we fear, we manifest something else than God. In God there is no fear, only hope and peace. And when we practise it, we take a seed of heaven and plant it on earth.

God is not far away. In fact, he’s just a smile away.
