We must not take the favor for granted. And we should not make excuses and say that blessing are just random luck coming our way.
- I don’t see the favor, you might say. But did you look for it in the small things? Did you give our Father credit for it? If you don’t see the small things, the big things won’t happen.
Do you include the things that didn’t go wrong today? E.g. today my neighbor’s car door was broken. Mine wasn’t. Favor or coincident?
Of course without the favor not all bad things would happen every day. But I’m 100% sure that I’m more accident free with the favor, than without. So when I’m reminded of it, I make sure to thank Him for that as well.
Not today
However today I not only need to give thanks for protection: God handled a rather big issue. A person went out of her way in her work duties and nagged her boss to help someone in my family. It’s one step in a prayer request I have.
It’s favor! Woho, God! I’m favored.
Thank God for His miracles! You’ll see them if you care to look.
