Crylaughing

Saturday, December 19th, 2009
In the midst of darkness and struggle, the Lord is right beside me. That I learned yesterday.

I was out on a short drive. As I usually do I had worship on my stereo. I had been doing the exactly same thing earlier on the day. But this time it was different.

The Holy Spirit completely filled the car. And I was filled with compassion and joy.

I began crylaughing. Now that’s not a word, but it is now for me. Because the compassion made tears pop out of my eyes. And the joy made me smile and laugh.

Now sometimes you say that you’re so happy you begin to cry. This was different though. It was two different moods/states at once. I’ve often have had them separately, but never together at once before.

It continued until I came home. Then I laid down on my bed with some more worship. And the presence continued to touch me deeply.

Thank you Holy Spirit and Jesus! Pals for life!

The awakening of a nation

Is revival revival, or is the revival in Norway different?

You can look at revival as spiritual awakening among individuals. If there is many enough individuals involved, you got yourself a revival. However there is a big difference between an outpouring of the spirit and awakening a whole nation.

In Norway we’re talking about transformation of the nation. It is when the awakening is not only working on an individual level, or are limited to the church. We’re talking major change in institutions of the society.

Such deep change demands more than awakening of a few souls. We’re talking change in politics, business, media, education etc.

Many are called in Norway

I know many people are called in Norway. Not just to be awaken, but also to be spearheads of change into different areas of society. God is preparing an army of leaders. If you’re connected you’ll see it everywhere in the body of Christ here.

Something big is happening underneath the surface.

Hans Nielsen Hauge

Hans Nielsen Hauge was perhaps the most significant Christian figure in Norwegian history. He was building the body of Christ through building industry, rather than cathedrals. His impact on society was incredible. He lived 200 years ago and left a real legacy for revivalists in Norway.

Hauge is also a major focus in the prophecies of Bob Hartley and Bob Fraser.

Personally I knew that business was very important in the Norwegian revival, long before I had heard about both Hauge and the Bobs. The Lord spoke this to me early in my calling, maybe in 2001 or so.

So when suddenly everybody is talking about Hauge and Christian business models, I understand that it’s legit and God driven.

Support our nation

Please support our nation, and the other Scandinavian countries, through prayer. The Norwegian revival is in labor. Also ask the Lord if there is something he wants you to do in order to release the revival. Not just for our nation, but also the many other nations that will be touched through this end time move of God.

Bless you!

The sensitivity of the Spirit

Saturday, November 21st, 2009
When God’s compassion gains room in our hearts, something fantastic begins to happen: The sensitivity of the Spirit starts to color our soul.

This is just so wonderful, because the sensitivity of the Holy Spirit just makes your life so much deeper. The grass gets greener. The flowers more beautiful. Your children even more adorable. And not to forget: The wonderful peace of Jesus.

When you obtain this peace you don’t want to trade for anything. It makes your life just so incredible stress free. Free of fear. Free from worries. The peace makes you able to face things you never could face in the natural.

The sensitivity of the Spirit also lifts your compassion to new levels. News stories suddenly becomes more alive to you and real. Other peoples’ tragic situations begins to impact you on a deeper level. It’s not just news any more. It is people. It will make you cry for a world in pain.

The sensitivity also brings along new levels of joy. You’ll celebrate life. You’ll understand how precious it is.

The sensitivity of the Spirit simply tells you more of how the Father is. You’ll begin to understand what He is about. You’ll begin to understand what Love is about. The Father is Love.

We’re all high priests for God

Wednesday, October 14th, 2009
Jesus released us all into priesthood. What was earlier reserved for the few, is now available to everyone.

Jesus told us that it was better for us if He returned to heaven, so He could send us the Holy Spirit. Even 2000 years later I don’t think we’ve seen the full fruit of his action.

Why was it better that Jesus left the earth, and left us with the Spirit? Wouldn’t it be great if Jesus still was among us, doing great work of Heaven?

No, because Jesus wanted you to have part of the action. Jesus wanted you to see what it is like to be a high priest of God. Jesus didn’t need any more training. So for Him to hang around and practise more at being the son of God, was meaningless.

You and me, on the other hand, that’s a different story. I need all the practise I can get, to fill my new identity as beloved child of God, my Daddy. So Jesus left us with all his tools, the authority and commandment: “By my name and the power of the Holy Spirit: Go out into the whole world, love people, love God, make disciples and do greater deeds than I”.

Wow, what a powerful message! And with the new social media, to go out into the whole world just got a whole lot easier. With a few touches on my keyboard I can build new relationships, share and spread His love and power with people everywhere. If I love my bed too much to move, I don’t even have to leave it to glorify my Lord and King.

Go out and spread some Heavenly joy for the King! Take on your high priest robe and take back what the enemy has taken from us.

This song just blew my mind

Wow, this song is really powerful. It just blew my mind and brought in the presence of God.

Hopefully you’ll be blessed from it too.

You need to give it away to recieve it

How can we release more life, power and flow of the Holy Spirit in our lives? Open up the pipe in both ends!

Often we are way too focused on “me and God” and too little focused on “me and my fellow men”. That is keeping us from functioning on a higher level in the body of Christ.

God, or Daddy (I will call Him that a lot on this blog), intended us to be perfect pipes for His love, power and glory. And pipes that are closed in one end, isn’t perfect. They hinder the flow. And since they hinder the flow, God will not allow too much flow through those pipes.

source

This is a closed water source. The water is drained, and there is no circulation. It reminds me of me sometimes.

The thing is, if I want to be in the flow of the Holy Spirit I need to make sure that both the input source works as well as the draining. Otherwise the Holy Spirit will not show up. Just like the people managing this source shut it down.

I must make sure that I’m just as good giving stuff away, just as I’m good at receiving. When God gives me something, I must give it away to someone else. Otherwise I’m a bad pipe. And I’m a bad source system, that will be closed down for mainteance.

Practical example

God gave me this insight I wrote above. What should I do with this insight? I could keep it to myself, and guide my life after it. However that wouldn’t be so smart. So I give it away, to you, here on this blog.

God bless you!

My hope and desire is to bless you with His presence

Wednesday, October 14th, 2009
I got really frustrated. I had walk one mile too many for God. I had put everything on the line.

Then, just when I expected everything to turn around to the better, he asked me: “Am I really enough for you? Give me everything you got.”

Surrounded by His glory I fell down on my knees and cried out: “Yes, you are enough, but you must give me one thing. You must give me alignment among the people close to me.”

After that I killed everything, as promised. I closed down everything related to my service for God. I shut down my blogs. I sent e-mails to people telling them I could no longer follow up on my promises. I teared up an old poster with my old vision.

Then I fought my inner struggle: Why did God ask so much? Hadn’t I already done enough? When would he turn the tides around? Could I really trust him? How could I go on?

It was a real system hard reset.

The first God reactivated was: “Come, live in my presence. Come, live close to me. Come, feel my heart beats”.

Then, a couple of weeks later I understood that in order to live in the glory, I need to give glory away. And that glory is this blog.

My hope for this blog

My hope for this blog is to bless you. I hope to bring hope, power, love and God’s presence into your life through this blog. This is a journey we walk together. Because I can only give you what I get. And I will give you what I get.
