How God’s love exploded in me

Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009
God’s love. The thing that started everything and is His passion and drive our very being.

This love is so huge can’t be expressed in words. And it changes everything. This is how I came to experience and realise just that that.

My testimony of God’s love

As I courted my wife I was out buying her a present. I still remember how I took the escalator to the second floor in the most famous shopping center in Oslo, Oslo City. As I stepped off suddenly everything around me changed.

It was like my very being was transformed into this tunnel vision. A single point of focus for my whole existence. Every cell in my body aligned with this focus.

Right then and there nothing in the whole world mattered other than the well being of my future wife. That was my single purpose and focus. And this love I felt was intense.

It was God’s love

It lasted for about a minute. I could not have handled this state much longer. I was amazed of this love. It was a supernatural love, far beyond what people normally can experience.

Then I understood that this was God demonstrating a small fraction of His Love for me. And believe you me, it’s immense, huge, amazing and beyond comprehension.

Breaking news! God can be proved

Sunday, November 29th, 2009
It’s impossible to prove God’s existence, some say. I believe that’s not completely true.

I do agree that there probably does not exist a single piece of evidence that on an universal level can undeniable prove God’s existence on a world wide level. However I believe that on a personal level the undeniable proof is in the pattern.

At least that’s how it is in my life.

I can’t get past the huge amount of evidence. Each piece does perhaps not contain enough conclusive data. However the pattern of the evidence put together is so overwhelming.

It’s so overwhelming that even if I should wish to not believe, I can’t. It would be to deny so much of myself, that I don’t think it’s possible.

Court in session

The legal system in our society is built on the same principle. Judgement seldom come based on a single piece of evidence. It’s the pattern of evidence, put together, that tells the story, past shadow of reasonable doubt.

This pattern is enough to have people thrown in jail for the rest of their lives, or even killed, some places.

If this legal principle is strong enough to have people killed, why shouldn’t it be enough to produce life?
Because in my life the pattern of evidence is there. However the conclusion is faith and the verdict is eternal life, not death.

Pieces of evidence

I have thousands pieces of evidence in my life. And as I look for the light, the more evidence keeps pop-in up. E.g. right now I can feel the presence of God in my room.

However I might be emotionally screwed up, right? Well, all around me I can talk about different experiences, supernatural encounters, miracles, healing and circumstances that point to my God, experienced by myself or people I know. It’s a massive pattern of evidence of not an existing God, but a God who loves me. Here are one of the pieces and here’s another.

I bet He loves you too. Try to meet His out stretched hand and you’ll get your own pattern.

The sensitivity of the Spirit

Saturday, November 21st, 2009
When God’s compassion gains room in our hearts, something fantastic begins to happen: The sensitivity of the Spirit starts to color our soul.

This is just so wonderful, because the sensitivity of the Holy Spirit just makes your life so much deeper. The grass gets greener. The flowers more beautiful. Your children even more adorable. And not to forget: The wonderful peace of Jesus.

When you obtain this peace you don’t want to trade for anything. It makes your life just so incredible stress free. Free of fear. Free from worries. The peace makes you able to face things you never could face in the natural.

The sensitivity of the Spirit also lifts your compassion to new levels. News stories suddenly becomes more alive to you and real. Other peoples’ tragic situations begins to impact you on a deeper level. It’s not just news any more. It is people. It will make you cry for a world in pain.

The sensitivity also brings along new levels of joy. You’ll celebrate life. You’ll understand how precious it is.

The sensitivity of the Spirit simply tells you more of how the Father is. You’ll begin to understand what He is about. You’ll begin to understand what Love is about. The Father is Love.

Let love be your ignition and fuel

In the new pact, God made it possible for ordinary people get to know Him. However He made it impossible to know Him without compassion and love.

Knowing our Father is all about heart to heart relationship. The driving force for man to connect to God is no longer through deeds and laws. It’s through compassion and adoration for Him.

My heart beats a little harder when I write this. Because I have fallen in love. I’ve fallen in love with the One who so desperately longs for my companion: My God.

Doors of Heaven

And this is how we grasp God, after we pass the first obstacle of believing in him. Faith opens up the doors of Heaven for us. Then we need to step in by loving on Him. We find Him through this love.

Righteousness are still there. However through blood of Jesus I stand clean. Faith enclose me. It makes the Father’s anger against my sin vanish.

Now I dare to approach the throne. And left is nothing but Him, me and the love between us.

Those that seek the Father through the dead letter without understanding the foundation of love, will never get it. It’s about heart beats first. Then the deeds comes from that passion.

After all it all began with love. For so loved God the world, that He gave His only Son… Love was His ignition for taking action towards the world that had rejected Him.

I love you, my Father!

The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.
Psalm 103:8
Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.”
Matthew 1:41
If you had known what these words mean, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the innocent.
Matthew 12:7

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
Colossians 3:12

His divine favor rests upon me

Tuesday, November 17th, 2009
I live in big contradiction, trial and pain. But the darkness will not steal this statement from me:

My Father’s divine love and favor rests upon me.

I’m greatly blessed. My Father does not let me go. When rested upon me, His gentle eyes glows with joy. His inner energy makes a spark when His thought goes to me. His passion and compassion jumps when He witness my fight and struggle.

Even if my situation is dispair and calls for hopelessness, that is in earthly terms. My King and Love has stated otherwise: “Do not look to the dark corners of earth. Look to my Kingdom, where your crown shines and your treasure grows for every minute that pass.”

My heart screams out to this overwhelming passion and love for me: My King, you’re truly faithful. My roads are hopeless. However for each step you straighten them, just as my foot reaches the ground. Step, by step, by step…

Favored warrior from the North

Because your everlasting favor rests upon me. I am favored. I am highly favored and the heritage is mine.

I proclaim darkness to go. I am a warrior. And I will strike you down with my sword, covered in white gold and inscriptions of divine truth. I am a holy viking warrior, hunting you down. Where I step, light will again linger and rule. Darkness will die.

I love you, my Father, my King!

God is the center of the universe

Thursday, November 12th, 2009
Before anything you need the right focus and the right fundament. Jesus gave us two commandments, where one were: Love God with all your power.
He answered: ” ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”
Luke 10:27

We need to keep our focus on Him. He must be the center of our universe. That’s not easy, because there are so many traps to walk in and so many distractions.

That means in life, we must be aware not to give it too much focus over God.

That means in revival, we must be aware not to give it too much focus over God.

That means in church, we must not give it too much focus over people and God.

That means in service, we must not fall in love with our service and forget our God.

Love God! Spend time with Him. Get to know Him.

Keep it real

Monday, October 26th, 2009
We need to keep our relationship with God real. We should stribe to keep the heart to heart, dynamic, communication alive.

When we worship, do we really praise?

When we pray, do we really adore?

When we dance, do we really embrace his presence?

When we give, do we really love?

God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.
John 4:24

Keep it real. Keep Him real. Today is a great day to turn away from the old dry wells. Today is a fantastic day to open up new sources of living water, inside.

My hope and desire is to bless you with His presence

I got really frustrated. I had walk one mile too many for God. I had put everything on the line.

Then, just when I expected everything to turn around to the better, he asked me: “Am I really enough for you? Give me everything you got.”

Surrounded by His glory I fell down on my knees and cried out: “Yes, you are enough, but you must give me one thing. You must give me alignment among the people close to me.”

After that I killed everything, as promised. I closed down everything related to my service for God. I shut down my blogs. I sent e-mails to people telling them I could no longer follow up on my promises. I teared up an old poster with my old vision.

Then I fought my inner struggle: Why did God ask so much? Hadn’t I already done enough? When would he turn the tides around? Could I really trust him? How could I go on?

It was a real system hard reset.

The first God reactivated was: “Come, live in my presence. Come, live close to me. Come, feel my heart beats”.

Then, a couple of weeks later I understood that in order to live in the glory, I need to give glory away. And that glory is this blog.

My hope for this blog

My hope for this blog is to bless you. I hope to bring hope, power, love and God’s presence into your life through this blog. This is a journey we walk together. Because I can only give you what I get. And I will give you what I get.
