The day of release

Thursday, November 12th, 2009
The last couple of months God striped me of everything. He wanted to teach me a lesson about purpose and priority.

Today began with 3 dollars in the bank and cloudy weather. I were to write about how heavy clouds in your life can keep you from seeing God. However even if you don’t see Him directly, the light of the day tells you that He is there.

This time hasn’t been a fun ride, I’ll tell you. But Jesus has never promised any of His students an easy ride. It’s part of our shaping process.

God asked me to kill my service for Him, my purpose in Him. Or, truth be told, I told God I would kill it. Then He responded that He actually thought that it was a good idea. He asked me a simple question:

Am I alone enough for you?

I immediately responded: “Yes, you’re enough”. So I withdrew from everything. And I felt that I lost my purpose. So even when my lips said yes, it’s been a battle to make my heart say yes too.

The day of release

Today came my day of release back into purpose. And immediately I got revelation from the Holy Spirit regarding two issues: Priority and purpose.

I’ve shared those revelations with you in two other posts below.

Have a day full of purpose and joy in the Lord!

Find your Kingdom purpose

Thursday, November 12th, 2009
All of God’s creation has a purpose. Finding your Kingdom purpose is critical for your spiritual development and survival.

The biggest miracle you’ll ever experience in your life is your salvation. However when you become a Christian you are reborn with a Kingdom purpose. Discovering and living that purpose is critical.

One of the biggest problems in church today is people not living their Kingdom purpose. Too many are happy with being saved, and have a God to throw a prayer at now and then. Too few fiercely go after their given purpose.

Hands trying to walk

Walking with your hands is pretty hard. With some practice you’ll pull it of, kind of. However it’s not effective and it’s not how you are supposed to walk.

Your mouth is created to speak. Your ears to listen. Your nose to smell. Your feet to walk. And your hands to work with.

All these body parts got their God given purpose.

A mouth that never speak, will not reach it’s fullness of life. Eyes that never see, will not know joy in fullness. Feet that never walk, will not prosper within it’s potential.

Do not be a misplaced body part in the body of Christ!

You desperately need your Kingdom purpose, or you’ll daze of and risk eventually to die spiritually.

Be not ashamed

Do not be ashamed of living in your purpose. It is God given. Purpose is the drive of life and together with love, essence of life. The Holy Spirit asked me to share this with you today.
